Pricing: Cluely vs Hedy
For one person on monthly billing, Cluely Pro is $19.99 and Hedy Pro is $12.99. Hedy also sells a year for $99.99 and a lifetime licence for $299; Cluely’s pricing page has an annual switch, so check the yearly figure there.
The gap grows if you share your screen. Keeping Cluely’s window off a shared screen takes the $149.99 plan, which is $1,799.88 a year. Hedy doesn’t say whether its window is hidden from screen sharing, so test it on a call before you rely on it. Every Cluely plan is in Cluely pricing.
What users say
The two get very different reviews. Cluely has 1.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 23 reviews, almost all one star; most complaints are about charges after cancelling, renewals and refused refunds, and some about transcription errors. Its terms say fees are non-refundable and the plan renews automatically (details in Cluely pricing).
Hedy scores 4.9 on the App Store and 4.7 on AppSumo. The complaints there are smaller: occasional transcription mistakes and misspelled names, weaker capture of phone calls, and automatic meeting detection only in Zoom, Teams and Webex. Cluely’s Trustpilot profile is unclaimed and its reviews aren’t verified, and app store ratings lean towards happy users, so test both on your own calls.
Which to pick
Hedy fits if you want a low-cost coach on your phone and computer, and if prompts for better questions are what you need. Cluely fits if you want general live answers and notes on your desktop and are fine with its screen-sharing rules.
