20 Best Real-Time AI Sales Assistants (2026–2027)
We were at a closed event in Valencia for people who build AI agents. One of the developers there builds AI tools for exams and job interviews, so he ends up reviewing a lot of those calls, and he told us his two most cringeworthy stories.
In the first, a future doctor sat an exam with AI prompts on his screen, talking about prosthetics as he read them. This is someone who will treat people. In the second, the candidate joined the call and found an AI avatar on the other side, which said right away that it was the only one allowed to use AI on that call.
We’d like to stay out of both stories. Realtimer is for your own sales and property calls, where the answers come from your price lists and playbook, and our terms forbid using it to cheat in exams or interviews.
The buyer asks “how are you different from Gong?”, and you have about two seconds before the pause gets awkward. A real-time AI sales assistant is built for that pause. It listens to the call and puts an answer on your screen while the buyer is still talking.
We build one of these tools, so we read a lot about the others. Below are 20 of them, from free desktop apps to contact center platforms priced at six figures a year. Many tools sold as “real-time” turn out to be call analytics suites with one live feature added. Those can be good products, but they solve a different problem from an assistant that answers the buyer’s question during the call.
Checked October 2026. Sources are linked under every tool, and where a figure comes from a third party we say so. We haven’t run paid trials of every product, and prices change often. We make Realtimer, which is on this list. If something here is out of date, write to [email protected] and we’ll fix it.

Free real-time AI sales assistants compared
Most tools on this list start with a demo and a quote. Three let you use real-time answers for free, and each means something different by “free”.

|---|---|---|---|
| Use at work, on client calls | ✓ Yes | Check Cluely’s terms | Needs written permission |
| Calls | Unlimited, with your own free keys | Limited AI responses | Unlimited, with your own keys or local models |

Realtimer Free is the one you can use on client calls without limits or asking permission. Cluely Free is a trial of the paid product. Natively Free is generous but meant for personal use. Trellus also lists a free tier for its dialer; check how much live coaching it includes. More on our free Cluely alternative page.
What “real-time” means on each of these products
Every vendor here says “real-time”, and they mean three different things. Some give you live answers: the tool hears the question and answers it from your documents or a model, as Realtimer, Cluely and Natively do. Others give you live cards, written in advance by someone on your team and shown when a keyword comes up; Dialpad, Clari Copilot, Outreach Kaia, Avoma and Nooks work this way. The rest nudge your behaviour (talk ratio, pace, monologue alerts, “set next steps”), like Trellus, Ringover, Gong’s Zoom app and Revenue.io.
Cards are reliable while someone keeps them current, and generated answers cover the question nobody wrote a card for. Nudges work more slowly, by changing habits over weeks. Decide which problem you have before you book demos.
Five kinds of real-time sales assistants
Desktop assistants run on your computer and work with any call app, from Zoom to WhatsApp, and one rep can start alone today. Dialers add live prompts to the outbound calls you place through them. Phone systems sell live coaching as an extra on their own calling. Revenue platforms treat live help as one feature among recording, coaching and forecasting. Contact center platforms guide hundreds of phone agents at once, with QA and supervisors watching.
1. Realtimer: real-time AI sales assistant that answers from your own playbook
This one is ours, so weigh it accordingly; we’ve kept it to what the app does today. It’s a small native Mac app (about 1.5 MB) that sits next to your call in Zoom, Meet, Teams, WhatsApp or any other app and hears both sides. When the buyer asks something, you press a key: Fast (⌃⌘↵) for a short answer in about a second, or AI (⌥⌘↵) for a fuller one.
Most tools on this list answer from cards that someone writes in an admin panel. Realtimer answers from the files you already have: playbook, battlecards, case studies, price lists. The source shows under each answer. Price lists in CSV get extra care. When a plan or a unit comes up, you see exactly its row, and every number in the answer is checked against that row. If quoting the wrong price worries you most, try this part first.
The window stays hidden from screen sharing and recordings, and nothing joins the call. The free version runs on your own free keys with no limit on calls. Pro includes AI and transcription, up to 2 screenshots per answer, call history and a talk ratio. More in Realtimer for sales and on Pricing; agents can read Realtimer for real estate.
Of the free versions on this list, Realtimer Free has the widest set of real-time features we know of (compare them in the free versions table). On paid plans, ours included, results depend on setup: your playbook, price lists, call briefs and vocabulary have to match how your team sells. On Team, we do that setup with you.
- Free with your own keys · Pro €29/month (7-day free trial, no card) · Team €49/seat.
- Skip it if you need Windows today, or a dialer for hundreds of cold calls a day.

2. Cluely: the general purpose undetectable AI meeting assistant
Cluely is a desktop app for Mac and Windows. It reads your screen and the conversation, suggests what to say, and writes meeting notes afterwards. It wasn’t built for sales in particular: its marketing has covered interviews and meetings of every kind, and its “undetectable” pitch has drawn criticism.
Sellers should check the pricing ladder. Hiding the window from screen sharing, which you need on a demo, comes only with the most expensive tier, and the free tier gives you limited answers and a few files.
We compared the two products line by line in Realtimer vs Cluely and on the free Cluely alternative page.
- Free tier with limits · Pro $19.99/month · Pro + Undetectability $149.99/month · Enterprise on request (checked October 2026).
- Skip it if you need it hidden on screen shares without paying $149.99 a month.

3. Trellus: AI dialer with a real-time coach for outbound
Trellus comes from cold calling. It’s a power and parallel dialer with a coach that watches each call and nudges you as it goes: “pause” when you’ve talked too long, “set next steps” when you’re about to hang up without them, “ask about the current state” when an objection lands. The prompts coach your behaviour and leave the answer to you.
On the sixtieth dial of the day, that’s what an SDR wants. On a 45 minute demo with a buying committee, it helps much less.
Its pricing page has changed several times, sometimes with heavy promotions, and live coaching for teams sits in the custom Business plan.
- Individual plans about $60 to $150 a user a month at list price (promotions vary) · Business plan with team coaching: custom.
- Skip it if most of your selling happens on scheduled video demos.

4. Nooks: AI dialer with live battlecards and a virtual salesfloor
Nooks wants remote SDR teams to feel like they share a sales floor again. Reps dial up to five lines at once. Managers drop into the virtual salesfloor, listen to live calls and whisper coaching. Battlecards appear when a competitor or an objection comes up.
Nothing has a public price, so expect a demo first. If your team lives on the phone and you want managers in the room, put it on the shortlist.
- By quote; coaching is sold on top of the dialer.
- Skip it if you don’t run an outbound phone team.

5. Aircall AI Assist Pro: real-time AI coaching inside the Aircall phone system
Aircall launched AI Assist Pro in July 2025. During a call you get a live transcript, prompts and a playbook of your choice (SPICED, BANT, MEDDIC or PACTT). After it you get a call score, CRM updates and a follow-up email.
It’s one of the few tools here with a public price. One review worked out a team of ten on Professional plus AI Assist Pro at about $990 a month, before numbers and international calls.
- $49 a user a month (billed annually), added to any Aircall plan.
- Skip it if your important calls happen on Zoom, Meet or Teams.

6. Dialpad Ai Sales Coach: AI Live Coach Cards in the Dialpad phone system
Dialpad uses cards triggered by keywords. A manager writes a card for pricing, a competitor objection or a compliance script, and when either side says the word, the card appears on the rep’s screen. A second live coach works without prebuilt cards, and speech coaching flags talking too fast or filler words.
Someone has to keep the cards current, so decide who owns that job before you buy. Dialpad doesn’t print a price for coaching, and one reviewer on Gartner mentioned confusion about what the licence covers.
- Part of Dialpad plans; outside estimates around $60 to $80 a user a month for tiers with coaching.
- Skip it if nobody on your team will maintain the cards.

7. Ringover AIRO Coach: real-time AI coaching as a Chrome extension
Ringover ships its live coach as a Chrome extension tied to its Empower product. It works with Zoom, Teams and Meet and coaches how you speak (tone, pace, engagement) more than what you answer.
- AIRO is included in Ringover plans; no standalone price for Coach.
- Skip it if you need answers to the buyer’s questions, not delivery tips.
Source: ringover.com: AIRO Coach
8. Clari Copilot (formerly Wingman): live cue cards and monologue alerts
Wingman is now Clari Copilot. Admins set rules: when the prospect says “Is this the best you can do?”, show a card with the product’s value and a case study. Reps also get live battlecards and an alert when they’ve talked too long.
Reviews split along experience. New reps find the cards a big help; experienced reps can find them distracting, and some users say a card shows up after the moment has passed. Pricing is by quote, and outside estimates disagree, from about $500 a user a year to $60 to $120 a user a month.
- By quote.
- Skip it if you want answers generated from your documents rather than cards someone writes.

9. Salesloft Conversation Intelligence: live coaching inside Salesloft
Clari and Salesloft relaunched Salesloft Conversation Intelligence in July 2026. Live coaching and next steps now sit on top of call summaries, action items, follow-up emails and CRM updates. Their pitch: conversation intelligence should be a live layer, not a place you go to review calls.
Public detail on what the live prompts look like, and which plans include them, is still thin.
- Part of Salesloft plans, by quote.
- Skip it if you don’t use Salesloft.

10. Outreach Kaia: real-time content cards in Outreach meetings
Outreach introduced Kaia in 2020 as a “knowledge AI assistant”. It joins and records the meeting, transcribes it live and shows content cards when the prospect raises a question. Reps can also search the cards by title mid call, which is why Outreach tells admins to name cards with the words reps will type in a hurry.
Kaia works best when an enablement team curates the content. The recorder joins the meeting, so the buyer sees it in the participant list.
- Part of Outreach, by quote.
- Skip it if you don’t want a recorder in the guest list.

11. Revenue.io Moments: real-time guidance built into Salesforce
Revenue.io (formerly RingDNA) builds everything around Salesforce. Moments listens for phrases and behaviour and shows talking points, compliance nudges or reminders, chosen from Salesforce fields such as deal stage, campaign, buyer role or industry. It also nudges reps when their energy drops or they interrupt.
The vendor says new hires ramp 50% faster; check that against your own ramp data.
- By quote.
- Skip it if you’re not on Salesforce.

12. Avoma: AI meeting assistant with live answer cards
Avoma began as an AI meeting assistant and grew into conversation intelligence. During a call it spots objections, competitor mentions and gaps in qualification, then shows an answer card for about 20 seconds; the rest wait in a drawer. Managers update the cards in one place, so every rep says the same thing.
A midsize team gets notes, coaching and some live help in one subscription. One review reports the recorder sometimes failing to join or dropping mid call.
- Paid plans; revenue intelligence costs extra.
- Skip it if you don’t want a bot in your meetings.

13. Zoom Revenue Accelerator Sales Assist: real-time deal guidance inside Zoom
Zoom made Sales Assist generally available in July 2026, inside new Essentials and Premium tiers of Revenue Accelerator (once called Zoom IQ for Sales). During the call it surfaces competitive intelligence, objection guidance, discovery prompts, battlecards and your qualification framework.
If your whole team meets on Zoom, there’s nothing to install. A call in Meet or Teams gets nothing.
- Revenue Accelerator Essentials and Premium; pricing on request.
- Skip it if your buyers pick the meeting platform.
Source: zoom.com: Revenue Accelerator
14. Gong: conversation intelligence with light live features
Gong is built for analysing calls after they happen: coaching, deal risk, forecasting. Its live side is smaller than people expect. The Gong app for Zoom gives you notes, bookmarks, an alert after about 2.5 minutes of monologue, and a live transcript if your admin switches it on.
So Gong and a live assistant answer different questions. Gong helps the manager next week; a live assistant helps the rep while the buyer is waiting. We went through the difference in Realtimer vs Gong and in Cluely vs Gong.
The outside estimates we found for Gong’s price disagree with each other, so treat the range loosely.
- By quote; outside estimates around $100 to $250 a user a month with everything added.
- Skip it if what you need is an answer while the buyer is talking.

15. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales: real-time conversation intelligence for Teams calls
Companies on Dynamics 365 and Teams may already own live help, with a licensing catch. Microsoft’s FAQ says real-time conversation intelligence on Teams calls comes with Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise and Premium, not with the lighter Copilot for Sales. Copilot can also recap a live Teams meeting and pull account details from Dynamics while you talk, which helps if you joined late.
- Included in Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise and Premium licences.
- Skip it if you’re on another CRM.
16. Balto: real-time guidance for contact center sales
Balto is built for teams on the phone all day. It follows the flow of each conversation, prompts the agent as it goes and runs QA alongside.
- Custom quote; no free plan.
- Skip it if you run a few long B2B demos a day.
Source: balto.ai
17. Cresta: enterprise real-time agent assist
Cresta gives large contact centers live guidance, knowledge answers and next steps for agents, plus AI agents and a Knowledge Agent launched in March 2026.
- Annual contracts; AWS Marketplace lists Agent Assist for Voice at $150,000 a year for up to 100,000 calls ($1.50 per extra call).
- Skip it if you’re a team of fewer than a few hundred agents.
Source: Cresta pricing breakdown
18. Observe.AI: real-time AI for contact center agents
Observe.AI launched its real-time suite for contact centers in 2023. Live prompts are shaped by each agent’s past performance, and supervisors can watch live calls and step in when a sale or a customer is at risk. The vendor’s conversion claims are large, so ask for references in your industry.
- Custom quote.
- Skip it if you’re a field or B2B sales team rather than a contact center.

19. Abstrakt: real-time call guidance in about 0.2 seconds
Abstrakt, founded in 2020 in Phoenix, competes on speed. Recommended responses to objections appear about 0.2 seconds after the trigger, and QA issues are flagged while the agent is still on the phone. It has also integrated with Salesloft for phone calls.
- Not published.
- Skip it if your calls are video demos.

20. Natively: open source AI meeting assistant
Natively is open source and runs on Mac and Windows. It connects to a dozen AI providers, runs local models through Ollama and can recognise speech locally if you want everything on your machine. The free version includes screenshots, auto answer and notes.
For work, read the licence first. The free version covers personal, educational and non-commercial use; using it on client calls needs written permission. It’s also a large Electron app with a “stealth” mode that can disguise itself as system apps, so check with IT before installing it on a work laptop. Our comparisons: Realtimer vs Natively and a Natively alternative for work.
- Free for personal use · managed API $8 to $35 a month · Pro licence yearly or lifetime.
- Skip it if you need it for client calls at work without asking for permission.

How each kind of tool handles one buyer question
The buyer says: “We already looked at Gong. Why would we need you?” With live cards (Dialpad, Clari Copilot, Kaia), a “Gong” card pops up with your talking points, if someone wrote one. If nobody did, nothing happens.
A behaviour coach like Trellus or Ringover might nudge you to ask a question back, but you still need the answer.
A revenue platform like Gong or Salesloft records the moment, and your manager can coach you on it next week.
With a live answer engine (Realtimer, Cluely), you press a key and get an answer built from your battlecard on Gong. In Realtimer, the battlecard’s file name shows under the answer.
How to choose a real-time AI sales assistant
Start with where your calls happen. Video demos on Zoom, Meet or Teams point to a desktop assistant or your meeting platform’s own tool; phone outbound points to a dialer or your phone system’s coach. Then decide where answers should come from: cards your enablement team maintains, or the documents and price lists you already have. If a wrong price can lose the deal, favour answers tied to your own price list.
On the buyer’s side, a recorder in the guest list changes the conversation, and on a demo the assistant’s window should stay hidden when you share your screen. Finally, check whether one rep can start today or whether you need an admin, a CRM integration and a contract first.
Four questions to ask on any vendor demo:
- How long from the buyer’s question to the answer on my screen, on a real call rather than a recording?
- Who writes and updates the cards or the knowledge, and how many hours a week does that take?
- Does anything join the meeting, and does the panel show when I share my screen?
- Which plan includes the live features, and which parts cost extra?
Real-time AI sales assistant FAQ
What is a real-time AI sales assistant?
Software that listens to a live sales call and shows the rep what to say next while the buyer is still talking: an answer to an objection, a competitor question or a pricing detail. Conversation intelligence tools like Gong mostly analyze calls after they end.
Which real-time AI sales assistant is best for video demos on Zoom, Meet or Teams?
Desktop assistants such as Realtimer, Cluely and Natively work with any call app because they run on your computer. Dialers and the coaches built into phone systems (Trellus, Nooks, Aircall, Dialpad) only help on calls made through them, and Zoom’s Sales Assist only works in Zoom.
Is there a free real-time AI sales assistant?
Yes. Realtimer Free works with your own free API keys with no limit on calls, including for commercial use. Natively is free for personal use. Cluely has a limited free tier.
Do these tools join the call as a bot?
Some do. Outreach Kaia and Avoma join meetings to record them, so the buyer sees them in the participant list. Desktop assistants like Realtimer run on your computer and add no participant.
Do I need to tell the buyer I use an AI assistant?
It depends on where you and the buyer are, because some places require consent to record or transcribe a call. Check the rules that apply to you. Some tools, including Realtimer Pro, let you post a disclosure message in the meeting chat with one click.
How fast should a real-time answer be?
Fast enough to use before the buyer moves on, ideally within a second or two. Prewritten cards can appear almost instantly; answers generated from your documents take about a second in Realtimer.
How much does a real-time AI sales assistant cost?
Anywhere from free to six figures a year. Realtimer Free costs nothing with your own keys and Pro is €29 a month. Cluely runs from $19.99 to $149.99 a month, Aircall AI Assist Pro adds $49 per user, and Trellus lists individual plans at roughly $60 to $150 a user a month. At the top end, Cresta lists Agent Assist for Voice at $150,000 a year. Most revenue and contact center platforms only quote after a demo.
Can the buyer see the assistant when I share my screen?
It depends on the tool. Realtimer’s window is hidden from screen sharing and recordings on every plan, including Free. Cluely hides only in its $149.99 tier, and Natively has a stealth mode it calls best effort. Tools that record through a bot, like Outreach Kaia and Avoma, show up in the participant list instead.
Will it make up prices or facts?
Any AI answer can be wrong, so read it before you say it. Tools built on cards only show what your team wrote. Realtimer answers from your own files and shows the source; for price lists in CSV it shows the exact row and checks every number in the answer against it, flagging any that don’t match.
Do I still need Gong if I use a real-time assistant?
They do different jobs. Gong records and analyzes calls so managers can coach and forecast; a real-time assistant helps the rep during the call.
Does it work on phone calls as well as video calls?
Dialers and phone systems (Trellus, Nooks, Aircall, Dialpad, Ringover) work on calls placed through them. A desktop assistant like Realtimer works with any app on your Mac that plays the call’s audio, including web dialers, WhatsApp and Telegram.
Which languages do real-time sales assistants support?
It varies by vendor, so check the one you’re considering. Realtimer transcribes English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Ukrainian and Russian, plus a multilingual mode for calls that switch languages. Gong’s live transcript in Zoom supports languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese and Korean.
How long does it take to set up?
Realtimer takes minutes: its first launch walks you through two free keys in about 3 minutes, and Pro needs no keys at all. Platform tools usually need an admin, a CRM integration and a contract before the first rep can use them.
Is my call data used to train AI models?
Check each vendor’s terms. On Realtimer Pro and Team, calls, screens and documents are not used to train AI models. On Realtimer Free, audio and text go straight from your Mac to the services behind your own keys, under their terms.
Does a real-time assistant help real estate agents too?
Yes, if the answers can come from your listings. Realtimer answers buyers’ questions about price, size, floor or payment plan from your own price lists and floor plans, with the exact row for the unit in question.
Try Realtimer on your next call
Answers from your own playbook and price lists in about a second, hidden from screen sharing, with no bot. Start the 7-day free trial (no card) or get the free app. Related: Realtimer for sales, for real estate and pricing.
